The Rebel’s Guide to Joy

I just watched this sermon given by Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church.  He really hit the nail on the head for me with his thoughts on Joy.  I went searching for this sermon after I realized it was pastor Mark speaking in the background of a song I’ve been listening to for years now.  I’m so glad I did because he said some things I really needed to hear.

Part 1: The Rebel’s Guide to Joy

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing

I’m posting this since they didn’t play the whole song in the sermon video and this is a better quality version.  I especially love these lyrics:  O to grace how great a debtor, daily I’m constrained to be! Let thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to thee. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love; here’s my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above.

Rebel

This is the song where I first heard the sermon clip.  I love some Lecrae!
